This is a big project. It must be done in stages and each stage costs money. We have had the PayPal link up for a while and we have just started a ChipIn! ChipIn is a way for a group of people to easily and securely "Chip In" to do something.

Phase I will be to get finalized plans for the geothermal cooling and solar hot water heating systems. As for all aspects of the Hurricane Harbor project the plans will be released under the Creative Commons license so that anyone may enhance or extend the designs without licensing costs.

To accomplish this on a limited budget and obtain cutting edge technology we are planning on developing a collegiate competition for the best design. We are asking for $3,000 in "ChipIn" funds however more will probably be required to generate enthusiasm for this competition. If we can raise $3,000 from individuals it will be much easier to get corporate sponsors.
